As an avid camper and kayaker, I love nature and try my best to leave this earth better than I found it. To that end, as much as possible. I look for reusable shipping boxes for mailing. I watch for people giving away moving paper, the clean newsprint, and will go and get it. I have to women who save me their bubble wrap and paper from their business supplies. They call me up and off I go to get them. I use as little plastic and bubbles wrap as possible. The tissue paper is ALWAYS brand new because it goes next to your glass. Loose paper and scraps are shredded and carried to the big blue box. it's not a lot but it's a it helps.
